Fikir, sya start cloth diapering Dhea pn msa umo dia sethn lbh.. Cd yg memula sya bli is bumgenius 2.0 (onesize). Beli pn selai je sbb nk dptkn gambaran sbnr cloth diaper. Then bila dh ada bajet lbh baru la start tambah cd utk Dhea n smbil 2 test brand2 yg brkenan di hati. Tp Dhea pn x fully cd. Most cd is fitted n pkai waktu mlm je. Siang pkai dispo jgak sbb atok nenek Dhea x reti nk pkaikn cd. Bila sya start preggy, mula la plan utk 2nd bb pulak.. So, kesimpulannya di sini mmg berbaloi....

sya pun br je try pakai cd ni untuk ank 2thn lebih..adelah dlm 2weeks..rase mcm ok..setakat ni x pernah lg bocor...sya beli bumgenius 3.0 (onesize) try 2 helai dulu..tp rase mmg mudah..basuh pun senang dan cepat kering..skrg pun tengah ajar dia untuk masuk tandas..mmg dia xkan poopoo dlm cd ni..suruh buka syg agaknye kot ehehe..

Saya boleh faham kenapa sesetengah ibu tak larat nak baca thread yang lagi satu tu...memang panjang berjela-jela...hehehe....

Anyway, the trick to cd is to try it first....macam kita nak berenang ler...setakat theory jer memang tak akan faham selagi tak terjun dalam air.

So...mummies semua...take the plunge and just go for it. If risau pasal the high initial cost, start sikit-sikit....or if u can, beli 2nd hand cd. Cara ini bagus sebab insya'allah the person can help u demo on ur baby.

And, dun worry if u takleh fully cd ur baby...even if u dapat save from using one disposable diaper is already beneficial to the environment

Salam semua... Saya start guna cd masa baby 2m++. Sekarang dah 19m. First cd beli was bumwear. Guna xlebih 5x the pockets sebab fitting dia tak bagus. some mothers like bumwear some don't. Depends on the baby. kena try dulu each brand yg ada. jangan terburu-buru beli package deals. don't expect everything will go according to plan initially. Guna cd ni kena sabar, jgn cepat putus asa, kena rajin cuci poo poo dan kena ada usaha nak tambahkan pengetahuan tentang cd. Ada methods tertentu dr segi nak cuci dan penjagaannya. dan cd ni ada macam-macam jenis. pockets,fitted, aio, ai2, cover, prefold,... fabrik yg digunakan pun pelbagai. it can be overwhelming at first all the jargons in the world of cloth diapers. australian panggil cd ni modern cloth nappies or mcn. kalau di uk nappies. saya xguna sepenuhnya cd ni walaupun koleksi yg ada dah lebih dr cukup. saya xnak susahkan datuk dan nenek my dd. tp i look forward to weekends and school holidays when i can fully use cd day and night. mula2 beli sebab i nak beri keselesaan pd anak sbb paha dia chubby dan slalu merah kena tape dispo diapers. kalau beli yg murah, kualiti tak bagus. kalu beli yg mahal saya biasanya peram dulu anak dlm dispo sebab sayang nak buang duit walaupun 80 sen. tp saya xsayang duit nak beli cd sampai rm80 sbb saya xbuang duit tu, betul tak? Now it has become almost like an addiction and tempat release tension. window shopping cd ni lg best dr wndow shopping baju,hehe... for mommies yg br nak try cd,i would strongly recommend bumgenius. so easy to use. for me, no other pockets available in msia yg saya penah guna that can match the quality of bgenius. other mothers ada preference masing2. just to share..i pun baru start cding my bb boy this year. dia dh 15mths. mmg cd (cloth diaper) ni worth every sen. tru my experience, my bb dh tade nappy rash lagi (walau sometimes terperam bb dlm cd up to 7hrs! tho not recomendable ;p), easy to use (esp aio n pocket-mcm dispo jek), easy to clean, n mmg jimat.
i fully cd my bb every 2 days pasal cd tk byk. my bb cukup guna 6-7 cd one whole day then i basuh the next day, once kering pakai lagi. gitu la. kalau before this gune dispo 2 1/2 jumbo pack per mth, sekarang just pakai 1 pek jek.
mmg la modal awal2 agak besar tp in a long run mmg berbaloi esp u ada anak2 yg umo rapat n still pakai diaper. sekarang pun byk boleh cari 2nd hand cd. just go tru our local cd estore/ local cd forum mmg ada dijual. kt sini pun ada tho tk byk. harga usually around half price tgk brand la.
mcm a few mommies kt sini, i love bum genius! mmg sape2 nk start cding, i would definitely recommend this brand. n mcm zorazara, once u start nanti mmg boleh jd addictive lg syok window shopping cd dr baju2 mummy

since u ada twins, i think for a start u shud have around 10-15 cds kot. tu pun kalau u half cding ur kids mcm i. means basuh-pakai-basuh-pakai every 2 days la. girls ke boys nih? heavy wetter tak?

i punya cara: during the day my boy pakai drybees aio sz m and bum genius os pocket pasal my mil jaga n these 2 type senang utk my mil. then waktu malam (i jaga baby) i gune bum genius and bellabottom fitted (better absorption). i standby bella posh os pocket. in between bathtime (1 hr or less) i just gune lampin tradisional tu with cover pureen/kikilala yg biasa tuh.

this is just my way of cding la. lain baby lain cara. mcm sape kata actually kena terjun terus dlm air kalau nk belajar berenang. dh cube baru tahu.

if u minat nk start with some little budget, maybe u can pm me cos i ada a few moms yg nk let go their cds. as a matter of fact i just bought a second wahmies os pocket. i pun tade modal besar nk cd ni. kita belanja ikut kemampuan ;p

i've been using cd for about 4 month now...going for fully cd tak lama lg since i dah start train my nursery how to handle the cd..now pakai petang2 jek..my stock of dispo pun dah nak abis so i plan nak using fully cd next month..hopefully berjaya

emm..what i can say is..i love it coz satu memang jimat in long term..then easy to use when u get use of washine and taking care of it..

nina...berapa byk each baby require cd tu actually susah nak define.i would say 10-12 pcs of cd should be ok ..but u kena bsh ngan kerap la..maybe everyday or selang sehari..depend on ur child gak..is he a light wetter or middle or even heavy wetter.semua tu hanya akan terjawap once u try 1 or 2 dulu.then when bila nak confortable baru la u try each brand each type.so start slowly..try out first a few brand..

my son 9kg now but he using sz L..sz rasanya depends on ur child body..my son have a big thigh..so i memang skip the s and m size..for me bumgenius is ok but it cant fit longer for my baby due to the fitting...drybeez can last longer for my baby

my son using huggies L tu at least 2 pack per month.when i have around 4-5 cd using only night (2 cd ) coz 1 cd tu i can wear in from midnight until the next day nak pi nursery and fully cd on weekend..i just using dispo during nursery time and walla..i just need to use 1 pack of huggies per month.by the way my son 9 month now ni..i aim my son will wear pampers up to 3 years old la..so if roughly calculate actually u dah save a lot with using cd lai2 u ada twin or cam org2 yg ada anak yg rapat. i rasa using cd memang lebih berbaloi..please remember one important thing is that the dispo price will be increase yet the quality these day sungguh mengecewakan..so even cam one child using about 10 cd equal cost dlm rm800-1k but that for 3 years..not a year..sorry la panjang lebar plak syarahan...actually i pun tak dela guna cd lama but i rasa prefer ngan cd compare dispo ..coz i frust ngan kualiti huggies these day :)
